OneTap Terms of Service

Last updated: July 8, 2026

These terms govern your use of OneTap, a Chrome extension that fills checkout forms with one tap, and the OneTap website. By installing or using OneTap, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. The Service Is Provided "As Is"

OneTap is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. This includes, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that OneTap will be uninterrupted, error-free, or work on every website or form.

2. Autofill Accuracy & Your Responsibility

OneTap uses AI to detect and fill form fields. AI field mapping is very good, but it is not perfect, and websites change constantly. OneTap may occasionally fill a field incorrectly — for example, placing an address in the wrong field, selecting the wrong region, or mapping a card field incorrectly.

You are responsible for reviewing every filled form before submitting it. OneTap fills forms; you place orders. We are not responsible for orders shipped to the wrong address, payments made with the wrong card, or any other consequence of submitting a form containing incorrect or misfilled data.

3. Your Data & Data Loss

OneTap stores your profiles, addresses, and payment details encrypted, locally on your own device. They are not backed up to any OneTap server. That's a privacy feature, but it has a consequence:

OneTap is not responsible for any loss of locally stored data. Keep your own record of important information. See the privacy policy for full details on how your data is handled.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use OneTap. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use OneTap only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You must also be legally permitted to use the payment methods you save.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

6. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue OneTap, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice. Features may be added, changed, or removed, and free features may become paid ones. We are not liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneTap and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or purchases, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim (which, for the free version, is zero).

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of OneTap resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

9. Changes to These Terms

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of OneTap after an update means you accept the revised terms.
